We have been waiting until the very last moment as we were still hoping to be able to hold the event face-to-face with all safety measures in place. However, in light of the current situation and unpredictability, we have been forced to conclude that the conference is simply not feasible. The conference was intended to mark the end of our FWF study and was funded by the project. This means we unfortunately cannot postpone the conference to a later date, and we lack the technological support to conduct the conference online.
We are so very sorry not to be able to meet together and share our work and ideas. We do hope that this decision does not cause you any undue inconvenience. We remain optimistic that we or someone else in this group may be able to take up the notion of a language teacher psychology in the coming years. It is a vitally important topic and remains under-represented in scholarship in SLA. We hope collectively to change that in the coming years!
